Afrisam Impact Story May 2020
During the Covid-19 state of national disaster, the health and wellbeing of its employees has been the number one priority for AfriSam. When the lockdown was announced, AfriSam was concerned that its employees would not have access to food during the lockdown period.
Having an already existing relationship with Rise Against Hunger, the company decided to partner with Rise Against Hunger again to sustain our employees during this time.
As a result, AfriSam, through Rise Against Hunger were able to supply over 388 000 meals to its employees across the country– enough to sustain employees and their families during this disaster period. An additional 23 000 meals were distributed to the community.
